Spiritual Life

One of the hallmarks of NTC is that it attempts to blend spirituality and academics in its pursuits of theological education. Therefore the college provides the students, staff and other members of the community ample opportunities for spiritual and academic exercises.

Devotional life of each student is considered as very important part of his or her ministerial formation.

The devotion sessions in the college include morning and evening devotions, daily chapel service, Sunday church service, twice a week Abba Father Prayer sessions and once a month day of fast. In addition to these we conduct special days of spiritual emphasis and mission emphasis and pastoral care sessions. Through these academic and other ministerial training and devotional sessions students acquire the much needed Christian spiritual discipline, character and maturity for future ministry. NTC is well known for spiritual disciplines and academic excellence.

Members of the staff/faculty and their families meet on alternate Saturdays (6: 30–8:00 p.m.) for prayer, sharing and fellowship.
